On August 16th, 2025 we are looking to host our 2nd Track and Field Camp. We are going to be bringing in local high school coaches and current college athletes to help run the track side of things, while continuing to grow the throwing side! please stay tuned as we solidify more coaches!



Our disciplines this summer that we will focus on will be:

  • Throwing: Discus and Shot Put
  • Jumping: Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump
  • Sprinting: 100m, 200m, 400m
  • Mid and Long Distance: 800m-3200m




Bill Tindale- Track and Field Coach| Shenendehowa 

Bill has over 30 years of coaching experience in cross-country and track and field.  He has coached a state champion cross-country team, 2 All-American Relay teams,  numerous All-State athletes, and many athletes who have gone on to run at the Division 1 level.


He specializes in program design for athletes who need to develop speed, strength, power, stamina, and resilience.


He is currently the mid-distance coach at Shenendehowa High School.

Thomas McConnelee – Track & Field Athlete | Roberts Wesleyan University is  returning this summer to help us lead the throwing portion of our camp. He is currently a thrower at Roberts Wesleyan University

Thomas had  a standout year  at NCAA Division II Roberts Wesleyan University. As a freshman in 2025, he made an immediate impact on the national stage, earning First-Team All-American honors in the hammer throw with a mark of 60.46 m (198' 4") to place 8th at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. He also finished 11th in the discus (53.07 m / 174' 1"), earning Second-Team All-American recognition.


At the 2025 ECC Outdoor Championships, Thomas was named Most Outstanding Male Athlete after scoring 28 points across multiple events. He received All-East Region honors from the USTFCCCA in shot put, discus, and hammer, capping off one of the most decorated freshman seasons in program history.


 

Mark Temp – Track & Field | SUNY Cobleskill

Mark Temp is a sophomore thrower at SUNY Cobleskill, competing in the shot put, discus, hammer, and weight throw. A native of Richmondville, NY and graduate of Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, Mark has been a consistent contributor for the Fighting Tigers since his freshman season. He holds collegiate personal bests of 31.79m in discus, 30.60m in hammer, 11.54m in weight throw, and 9.37m in shot put. Known for his work ethic and versatility across all throwing events, Mark continues to develop as a reliable competitor in the North Atlantic Conference. 

Noah Tindale – Track & Field | Liberty University and Dallas Baptist University

Noah Tindale was a collegiate middle-distance runner at Dallas Baptist University, specializing in the 800m and 1500m. A 2019 graduate of Guilderland High School (NY), Noah began his collegiate career at Liberty University before transferring to DBU. He holds personal bests of 1:52.90 in the 800m, 4:05 in the 1500m, and 4:17 in the mile, and has been a key contributor in both individual events and relays, including the 4×400 and distance medley. Known for his consistency, competitive edge, and team-first mindset, Noah brings experience and leadership to every race.

Arlan Wright – Multi‑Event Track & Field Athlete | SUNY Albany Commit

Arlan Wright is a rising multi-event standout from Berne‑Knox‑Westerlo High School in New York, set to compete for SUNY Albany beginning in 2025.


As a senior, Arlan earned First Team Times Union All‑State honors after scoring 3,205 points to win the pentathlon at the Class C Section II state qualifier—finishing 3rd in Class C and 11th in the Federation meet 

He posted personal bests including 110m hurdles in 15.79 s, 400m hurdles in 58.05 s, long jump of 19‑7 ft, high jump of 6‑3.5 ft, 1500m run in 4:38.31, and shot put of 37‑0.25 ft

 

Arlan brings versatility, resilience, and a proven record in combined events, making him a promising addition to SUNY Albany’s track & field roster as he transitions to the next level of competition.


Easton Reagan – Track & Field | University at Albany

Easton Reagan was a standout hurdler and sprinter for the University at Albany men’s track & field team. A four-time America East champion, he has excelled in the 400m hurdles and contributed to multiple conference-winning relays, including the 4×100m and 4×400m. Reagan holds a personal best of 52.34 seconds in the 400m hurdles and is known for his consistency, relay leadership, and ability to perform in high-stakes championship meets. His speed and versatility continue to make him a key contributor to UAlbany’s success in the America East Conference.

Register for FCA 2025 Track and Field Camp

On July 27th, 2024 FCA hosted its first ever throwing  clinic. We were blessed to have Coach Ed Hantho, Roberts Wesleyan thrower Thomas McConnelee, and SUNY Cobleskill thrower Mark Temp trained 12 shot put and discuss throwers. We are looking forward to doing another one in the spring of 2025 and possibly incorporating more track and field events.

Thomas McConnelee 


Is a rising freshman at NCAA Division 2 Roberts Wesleyan and the 2024 NYS champion in disc for small schools and the federation (includes all schools). In 2024 Thomas also placed second in the shot put for small schools (55’8”) at the state meet and Sixth in Federation. Thomas has a Personal Record (PR)  in discus 188’6” at the Eddy meet. His PR in shot put 57’6” set at the indoor state qualifier. Has been throwing at Cobleskill Richmondville HS since his freshman year. Holds school records in the weight throw, indoor shot put, and the discus. Attended the Throws University camp during the summer of 2023. Is going to study exercise science in college and plans to work in the athletic field . National Honors Society member with overall 94% high school average

Is a Christian who attends Fusion Community Church.


Coach Ed Hantho


In High School, during his senior year he was a New York State qualifier in shot put and held the Fonda-Fultonville record at 53' 3.75". In college he threw for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of Albany in shot put and discus. Coach Hantho has over 30+ years coaching track & Field with 9 state qualifiers in the throws and pentathlon. 4 state place finishers and 2 state champions.
